Ke'e Beach is one of those very special places in Hawaii. The crystal clear waters and the amazing scenery make this a unique beach in a state full of beautiful beaches. This beach also marks the beginning of the amazing Kalalau Trail that winds along the Na Pali Coast.

Drone Aerial Print - "Hanalei River Bend" - Island of Kaua'i, Hawaii
The Island of Kaua'i is my favorite island in Hawaii... and the town of Hanalei is my favorite town in Hawaii. I've tried, several times, to capture some of the magic of this beautiful place with an aerial image. This is one of my favorite images... combining a view of Hanalei River and Hanalei Bay... with rugged green volcanic cliffs rising in the background. Na Pali Cliffs - Island of Kana'i, Hawaii
This is, definitely, an aerial shot... but this was taken before anyone had ever heard of a drone. I got this photograph the "old fashioned way". I was hanging out of the side of a full size helicopter for this one. Still one of my favorite images of the incredible Na Pali Coast on Kaua'i.

Drone Aerial Print - "Kaua'i Dream" - Near Queen's Bath - Island of Kaua'i, Hawaii
Kauai visitors, often, flock to the well-known "Queen's Bath" near Princeville. This drone cam view captured a coastline view, near Queen's Bath... which I think, is actually the most beautiful spot in this area. One of those rare shots where the ocean, vegetation, clouds, and lighting all seem to come together for a beautiful scene.

Drone Aerial Panorama - Island of Kaua'i - South Shore
I captured this drone aerial panorama of Kaua'i's South Shore on a very windy day. It pushed my drone system, quite a bit, to get out for the shot and get back safely. This incredible view, however, was worth it. I've lived on Oahu, Lana'i, and Maui... but Kaua'i is still my favorite island. The South Shore, around Poipu Beach is bright and sunny... just the opposite of the North Shore, around Hanalei, that tends to be lush, wet, and green.

Hanalei Pier Sunset - Island of Kauai, Hawaii
I've tried, more than once, to catch a spectacular sunset behind the world famous Hanalei Pier on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. Finally got this shot. Shooting, directly into the sun, pushes even the best camera technology to the limit... but, I think I was able to bring all the elements of this beautiful scene together into the image I've tried to acquire for quite some time. The sunsets, at Hanalei Bay, are truly something very special!

Hanalei Valley - Island of Kauai, Hawaii
The incredible beauty of Hanalei Valley on the island of Kauai, Hawaii... really has to be seen, first hand, to be fully appreciated. My wife and I were driving to dinner one evening when I noticed these beautiful clouds and amazing lighting conditions all coming together, so I pulled the car over and grabbed this shot. Just goes to show that you never know when an amazing scene is going to pop up... always good to be ready with a camera... just in case!

Kalalau Valley - Island of Kauai, Hawaii : If there is a more spectacular view, on this earth, I don't know where it is. The drama of actually seeing this place, in person, often moves people to tears. Hard to even describe the feeling... My wife and I arrived at Kalalau Lookout just as the sun was opening up on this amazing cliff line leading down to the Pacific Ocean. Not long after I took this shot, the clouds moved in and covered over this amazing view.

Manawaiopuna Falls - Kauai - Hawaii : This beautiful, 400 foot waterfall used to be a secret... then it was used in the famous helicopter landing scene in the 1993 movie, "Jurassic Park". Now it is, often, referred to as "Jurassic Falls".
