I got this drone aerial view of the Kahakuloa area on an extremely windy day. It pushed the drone to the limit to get out for the photo and return. I took off from near the hairpin curve over the tall sea cliff. Sometimes, we have to "push the envelope" a bit to get the desired shot. This time, it was worth it!
Kanaha Beach, on the Island of Maui, has some of the most beautiful sand and water in Hawaii. Famous for it's kiteboarding and windsurfing, it can get a bit windy at times... but the beauty of the place will take your breath away.
I captured this drone aerial panorama of Kaua'i's South Shore on a very windy day. It pushed my drone system, quite a bit, to get out for the shot and get back safely. This incredible view, however, was worth it. I've lived on Oahu, Lana'i, and Maui... but Kaua'i is still my favorite island. The South Shore, around Poipu Beach is bright and sunny... just the opposite of the North Shore, around Hanalei, that tends to be lush, wet, and green.
