Family and pet photography are favorite subjects at Joe West Photography. I shot commercial photography, in Hawaii, for 20+ years before moving to Tennessee in 2020. I've shot everything from world class surfing to family portraits for celebrities. Some of my clients have included Four Seasons Resorts, Marriott, and Kapalua Golf among others. My wife and I are, originally, from Kentucky and we are abolutely loving being back, in the South, in the Murfreesboro / Franklin area. I really enjoy shooting families and pets in natural settings. Through my years of shooting experience, I've learned that the more comfortable people (and pets) are... the better the photos. This is one reason why I have learned to apply my wildlife shooting techniques (combining natural light, flash, and longer lenses) in comfortable settings where people and pets are most at home.
